Lise Vejse Klint
Lise is Director of Programs and Events at INDEX: Design to Improve Life, the world’s largest award for design. She is a member of the jury for the Shanghai EXPO 2010’s Danish Pavilion and sits on a Danish government committee that focuses on raising achievement in higher education.
Lise Vejse Klint brings the experience of a designer and the insights of an educator to her INDEX: work, which began in 2006. She is a member of the jury for the Shanghai EXPO 2010's Danish Pavilion and sits on a Danish government committee that focuses on raising achievement in higher education. Lise is a member of the UN's Design21 advisory board and a board member of the Danish Arts Foundation.
In 2005, she was elected Secretary General of Icograda – the International Council of Graphic Design Associations – and was appointed by the country's Minister of Economic and Business Affairs to a committee formed to strengthen Danish design. From 2005-2009, she was a member of the International Design Alliances' (IDA) Executive Committee. With a Master's degree in architecture from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts' School of Architecture in Copenhagen, Lise has taught on campuses including the Royal School of Library and Information Science, the University of Copenhagen and her alma mater, the Royal Academy's School of Architecture.
