Registration Information
Registration fees have been set to make the Design Week accessible to delegates from different backgrounds and from different parts of the world. Rates are established in three categories (regions). For information on what region your country belongs to, please click here. GDC, SDGQ and RGD Ontario members all qualify for the Member rate.

All fees shown are in Canadian dollars. Please note that GST tax applies to registration for Icograda Design Week in Vancouver. The fees shown on the registration form include 5% Federal Goods and Services tax (GST).

Member Rate Individuals belonging to an Icograda, Icsid or IFI professional member organisations, employed by a promotional, educational or corporate member organisation, or attending an educational member institution  as a student qualify for the member rate. 

Included in your registration fee is:

- Access to all Conference sessions


- Tea breaks and lunches on 28-29 April 2010


- Opening Keynote and Welcome Reception on 27 April 2010

Academic Registration:
Academic rate is available to faculty and staff of educational institutions. When registering as an academic, please email or fax a copy of your faculty ID card or a letter of confirmation from your institution to the Conference Secretariat after submitting your registration. You can send a scanned copy to icograda.vancouver@congrex.com or by fax to +31 20 5040211.

Student Registration:
When registering as a student please email or fax a copy of your student card for the current academic year or a letter of confirmation from your institution to the Conference Secretariat after submitting your registration. You can send a scanned copy to icograda.vancouver@congrex.com or by fax to +31 20 5040211.

Payment Options

Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard only)

The Icograda Design Week Conference Secretariat is Congrex Holland. To meet with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DDS) and to further enhance the security of your credit card transaction when making your online booking, you will be directed to our secure payment gateway hosted solution via DIBS (payment gateway).

For your security we do not accept your credit card details on any hardcopy forms, by e-mail, fax or phone.

IMPORTANT: You must include your name and invoice number in the wire transfer details.

Please note that should you choose to pay by bank wire transfer you will be obliged to complete the transfer of funds within 2 weeks after the on-line registration date.

Account Balances 

All account balances will receive a payment reminder via e-mail from icograda.vancouver@congrex.com which will detail your account overview and include the secure link to our payment supplier (DIBS).

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Name Changes/Substitutions

Name changes are only accepted when the original person and his/her substitute come from the same university, institute or company.

Cancellation Policy

Refund of Registration will be made as follows:


  • up to 90 days prior to arrival, full refund less bank charges;

  • up to 60 days prior to arrival cancellation charge of CAD $50;

  • less than 60 days prior to arrival, no refund.

All refunds will be made after the conference.
